Course
Course 7.5 credits • JOUE01
The rapid digitalisation of societies has created new online habits all over the world. This has enabled new possibilities and challenges for journalists, other media professionals but also organisations and companies who want to create an impact locally, nationally and internationally.
In this course, the participants will examine how journalists and others, can benefit from and create content for online platforms, social media, and real-time journalism. We address challenges in media ethics, disinformation and how to avoid misinformation. The course also discusses the need for diversity within newsrooms and other workplaces, providing students with strategies on how to raise their awareness and develop their ability to cover multiethnic society.
