Kom Higher Seminar

The KOM higher seminar series is an interdisciplinary, lively and dynamic seminar with PhD students and senior staff, sometimes invited guests, presenting their ongoing work, manuscripts, and research proposals in preparation. It is an informal and generous space where thresholds are low, and everyone is welcome. Some of the seminars are of internal character, while others are of public interest. If you want to attend a seminar or keep track of our programme please let us know, and we will add you to our seminar emailing list. The seminar is co-organised by the KOM subjects: media and communication studies, journalism, media history, and rhetoric. The seminar is run by an organising committee with representatives from the different subjects, and chaired by Helena Sandberg, Professor in media and communication studies.
